This page sets out who owns what on soundcontroltech.com, what you may do with it, and how to raise a copyright complaint if you believe material on this site infringes your rights.
Our content
The original written material on this site is ours. That covers the article text, the product write ups, the category and buying guidance, the page structure, the site design, and the way information is selected, organized, and presented. It is protected by copyright and by database and compilation rights where those apply.
You may quote a short extract for review, commentary, news reporting, teaching, or research, provided you attribute it to Sound Control Tech and link back to the page you took it from. You may link to any page here freely, and you do not need to ask first.
You may not republish a page or a substantial part of one, scrape the site in bulk, spin or reword our text and publish it as your own, feed the content into a commercial product, or present material from here as though it originated elsewhere. If you want to do something that goes beyond a short quotation, ask first at [email protected].
Product images, specifications, and brand names
Product photographs, packaging artwork, specification tables, manufacturer descriptions, model names, logos, and trademarks shown on this site are not ours. They belong to the manufacturers, the rights holders, or to Amazon, and they are reproduced here for one reason: to identify the specific product being discussed so a reader knows which item a page refers to.
Their appearance on this site does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or any affiliation with the rights holder. Where a brand name is used, it is used descriptively, to name the product. All such marks remain the property of their respective owners.
If you are a rights holder and you would prefer your image or specification material not appear here, write to us and it will be removed. You do not need to file a formal notice to make that request.
Copyright complaints
If you believe material on this site has been copied in a way that infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with the subject line “Copyright Notice”. Please note that this is a direct contact address for the site. We have not registered a designated agent with the United States Copyright Office, so this address is not a registered DMCA agent, and a notice sent here is handled as a direct request to the site operator rather than as a filing under the statutory safe harbor procedure.
To let us act quickly, include the following:
- Identification of the work you say has been infringed, with a link to the original if one exists.
- The exact URL or URLs on soundcontroltech.com where the material appears, and enough detail to locate it on the page.
- Your name, mailing address, and an email address we can reply to.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We aim to acknowledge notices within a few business days. Material that is clearly infringing is removed while the complaint is reviewed. Please do not send a copyright notice for material you do not own, and note that knowingly filing a false claim of infringement can carry legal consequences for the person filing it.
Counter notice
If material you submitted or published was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, reply to us at the same address explaining why, and identify the material and where it appeared. We will review it and restore anything removed in error.
